TeamCare is available to UPS Teamsters who are eligible for short-term disability benefits if:
To be eligible for COVID-19 it is under the supervision of a doctor
A doctor, teladoc, or any state agency has recommended that you self-qualify
The short-term disability insurance offered by TeamCare provides sixty percent of weekly base salary of 500 dollars per week over a total of 26 weeks. The plan also provides continued health benefits.
You will not receive short-term disability benefits while you are on paid leave or receiving other compensation.TeamCare members who are on leave, lay-off or terminated are not eligible to short-term disability.To initiate your leave, you must contact Aetna.
